Back when folks were afraid to look into the future of Blackness, before the launch of the Black Age, long before the term "Afrofuturism" took off, a youthful Prof. Onli had boldly introduced the concept of "Rhythmism" as the channeling of future-primitive genetic memories in the flows of all creative practices. That was in the early 1970s. His position was and is that all things past, present and future are imprinted in our DNA. Our living code. Prof. Onli welcomes the arrival of all things Afrofuture.
